Sayulita: A Beachside Bohemian Paradise

Sayulita: A Beachside Bohemian Paradise

by Danielle Robles

Just 25 miles north of the uber-chic Puerto Vallarta, lies a sleepy little beach town that bohemian dreams are made of. In lieu boisterous clubs packed with shirtless fist-pumpers are cocktail bars, quaint restaurants, and lounges lined with tanned (and gorgeous) surfers. It’s hard to ignore the artisanal vibes of the city, one that rivals that of Silverlake with its macrame lessons and boutiques boasting dreamcatchers, but what is more surprising is the notion that this town still remains somewhat undiscovered. Here, you can chill in a mansion overlooking the ocean for less than the price of The W, and enjoy fresh fruits and produce in one of the many health-conscious haunts. Take a peek inside of my favorite sleepy little Mexican beach town, and book a ticket ASAP before the rest of the hipsters take note.
